City of Boston Recognition
HONORED BY THE CITY OF BOSTON
Wispikar Picard Thelasco — CEO & Founder
Since 2000, Wispikar Picard Thelasco has been a cornerstone of Boston's Haitian cultural landscape — building a movement that goes far beyond entertainment. Through Classic 1804 Entertainment, he has created a space where the Haitian community could gather, celebrate, and be seen, producing over 100 sold-out events that have united thousands across New England.
In recognition of his two decades of dedication to cultural preservation, community building, and elevating Haitian nightlife to the world stage, Wispikar was honored with a formal citation from the City of Boston, signed by Mayor Michelle Wu. It is a testament to what happens when passion meets purpose — and a reminder that Classic 1804 is more than a brand. It is a legacy.
